Meet the Salt House Council
The Salt House Council is made up of volunteer leaders at Salt House. Most positions are elected by the congregation and a few others are appointed. The council's role is to oversee the fiduciary and legal requirements of Salt House as a non-profit organization. The council also actively supports the staff and congregation in fulfilling our vision and mission.

I am honored to be starting my fourth and final consecutive year on council. I had never been in a leadership position like this, so I asked myself, "why are you here?" The answer is clear: God is at work at Salt House. I know it because I have experienced life here: love, joy, grief, growing pains, and reconciliation. So, I'm excited for whatever God has in store and blessed to be invited into that work.

Originally from Minnesota, our family moved to Kirkland just over 10 years ago for my job at Microsoft. When Salt House was just being formed, it immediately resonated with Alissa and I'm so happy to be here. I'm super excited to not only help grow Salt House, but also grow in my own faith.

Anne and I have been members at Salt House since 2017. During that time it has been exciting and rewarding to witness and be a part of our growth. I have served on the Building and Grounds Team, both the S.A.G.E. and Men’s groups.I feel blessed to be given so many opportunities to serve Christ through activities at Salt House.
