WHEN WE MEET
WHAT TO EXPECT
WHAT TO EXPECT | REGULAR RHYTHMS: COFFEE + KIDS + CONNECTIONS
- Our worship services usually last 60-70 minutes. There is no dress code. Please wear what is comfortable for you.
- You will be welcomed by one of our friendly Welcome Team members with an invitation to participate on whatever level is comfortable for you.
- Coffee and Tea are available in our lobby. You are more than welcome to bring it with you into our sanctuary space. And when we eat a meal together, please pull up a chair and dig in. Even (and especially) if you didn’t bring anything to the potluck.
- Bringing Kids? Sunday school is available for kids ages 4-10 and nursery care is available for kids ages 0-3. More info here.
- You’ll get a worship booklet with general info about Salt House and materials for the morning’s experience.
- We’ll sing together, spend some time in conversation, pray, hear words from scripture, experience excellent preaching and storytelling, and have an opportunity to engage in at least one of our core practices.
- We have communion every Sunday and everyone is invited. We practice open communion at Salt House which means you don’t have to be a member at Salt House (or any church) to participate. If you feel led, you are absolutely welcome to receive communion. Our bread is allergen-free and we serve both wine and non-alcoholic grape juice.
- As worship ends, we usually talk about Ways We Respond (a.k.a., giving info, announcements, and engagement opportunities).
- After worship, join us some casual conversation, more coffee, and an opportunity to receive prayer with someone on our care or pastoral team.
